January 26, 2022

Dear riders,

As part of the preparations for ‘Alfis’ storm on Wednesday-Thursday (January 26-27), transit changes are expected in North and Central Israel.

The Ministry of Transportation is preparing to pause the intercity bus service to and from the Golan Heights, Safed and the Upper Galilee, Samaria, Binyamin, Greater Jerusalem area, Gush Etzion, and Mount Hebron, depending on the weather. According to forecasts, the inter-city service in the north is expected to stop on Wednesday noon, and inter-city service in Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria area is expected to stop towards the afternoon. The intracity service in Safed and Jerusalem is also expected to be reduced to the minimum. The service is expected to be renewed on Thursday.

Note that due to the reduced service at noon, it is recommended to plan your commute ahead of time.

Changes in schedules and routes are expected to be updated in real-time at the call center *8787 and at the bus companies’ call centers. Israel Railways is preparing to increase its service according to the weather.

Safe travels 🧑
