BC Transit and the District of Kitimat are advising customers of a return to full service, effective December 3, 2023.
BC Transit is inviting you to help us stuff a double-decker bus full of holiday cheer on Saturday, December 2, 2023.
A BC Transit bus will be set up at the Save-On-Foods at the Tillicum Mall on December 2 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. with volunteers collecting non-perishable food items, new, unused toys, and clothing.
All donations will benefit the Mustard Seed Food Bank and the Salvation Army, helping families in need this holiday season.
BC Transit, the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary and the Regional District of Central Kootenay are advising customers that the West Kootenay Transit system ski bus to Red Mountain returns on December 9, 2023.
Route 48 Red Mountain will operate once daily on Saturday, Sunday and when school is not in session between December 9, 2023, and March 31, 2024. The operation of this route also depends on snow conditions and operations on the mountain.
BC Transit and the Victoria Regional Transit Commission are announcing a seasonal service change in the Victoria Regional Transit System, effective December 4, 2023.
To coincide with post-secondary students being out of class for the holidays, service will be reduced on the following routes:
- 4 UVic/Downtown
- 7 UVic/Downtown
- 12 University Heights/UVic
- 14 UVic/Vic General
- 15 Esquimalt/UVic
- 21 Interurban/Downtown
- 26 Dockyard/UVic
- 39 Westhills/UVic
- 51 Langford/UVic
These changes will remain in effect until January 8, 2024.
BC Transit and the Regional District of Mount Waddington are announcing a seasonal service change effective Saturday, December 2, 2023.
As part of this service change, the Route 6 Woss is introduced and schedules for the Route 5 Coal Harbour are adjusted on Saturdays. This change provides seasonal service to Woss and will be in effect until March 30, 2024.
