It’s almost the end of 2019 and let’s welcome 2020 with a bang.
There won’t be any operational changes over the weekend but we wish to remind there some permanent changes is about to take into effect next week.
Breaking: Annular Solar Eclipse will come to Singapore today!
If you haven’t known already, the sky of Singapore will experience what doubt as “once in a lifetime” opportunity to see an annular solar eclipse. A solar eclipse is a natural phenomenon where the moon is directly on the path of blocking our sun. Here’s a video from Channel News Asia explaining the phenomenon.
Remember, the eclipse starts around 11.30am, and peak at around 1.22pm to 1.24pm, while the partial eclipse will last until around 3.18pm.
It is a rare opportunity for all Singaporean as this occurrence will happen directly above Singapore’s sky!

Here are the upcoming changes
1) Fare revision 2019
Announced on October 2019, the reviewed public transportation fares will start on 28th December 2019 (Saturday). Tap here for more information about the fare review.
2) Cessation of GrabShuttle, GrabShuttle Plus & Beeline Shared Transport Service
Grab and Beeline on earlier of this month announced that they are ceasing the services under GrabShuttle, GrabShuttle Plus and Beeline with effective from 1st January 2020. However, on 18th, HDT Singapore had announced a collaboration with ShareTransport.SG to run routes that Grab & Beeline with cease.
