Salvation Army Cooling Stations

June 22, 2016

The Salvation Army operates Cooling Stations at their shelters and community centers in the DFW Metroplex. People are encouraged to stop by, cool off in an air-conditioned facility and enjoy a cold drink of water.

Cooling stations provide two necessary things for those at risk of heat exposure: hydration and a cool environment.
