    New Year’s Service for WMATA and MTA

    ⚬ WMATA

    • Metrorail and Metrobuses will operate on a Sunday schedule on New Years Eve, and New Years Day (12/31, 01/01)

    ⚬ MDOT/MTA

    • Local Bus: Sunday/Holiday Schedule on 01/01
    • Metro Subway: Sunday/Holiday Schedule on 01/01
    • Light Rail: Suspended until further notice
    • MARC Train:
      • Tuesday-Friday, December 26-29, R schedule on all three lines, R+ on the Brunswick Line.
      • Saturday, December 30,  Regularly scheduled Saturday Penn Line service.
      • Sunday, December 31, Regularly scheduled Sunday Penn Line service
      • Monday, January 1, No MARC Train service.
      • Tuesday, January 2,  full MARC Service on all three lines.
    • Commuter Bus:
      • Friday, December 29, we will operate a modified early PM schedule.
      • Monday, January 1, No service except the #201 will operate the Weekend/Holiday schedule.
    • Mobility Service:
      • Sunday/Holiday Schedule on Jan.1st.  No subscription trips on New Year’s Day.
