    WMATA

    Metrobus

    • Metrobus will detour in Downtown DC due to first amendment demonstrations from today, January 5th through January 6th. Detours are tentative for Thursday, January 7.

    Metrorail

    • Weeknight service adjustments for Monday, January 4th – Friday, January 8th
    • Red Line Trains every 12-20 minutes
    • Blue Line Trains every 15-20 minutes 
    • Silver, Orange, Yellow & Green Line Trains every 15-20 minutes

    • Weekend service adjustments for Saturday, January 9th – Sunday, January 10th
    • Red Line Trains every 12-15 minutes
    • Blue Line Trains every 16-20 minutes between Huntington and Largo Town Center only. Franconia-Springfield, Van Dorn St, and Addison Rd stations closed. Free shuttle buses provided
    • Orange Line Trains every 15-20 minutes
    • Silver Line Trains every 16-20 minutes. Addison Rd station closed. Free shuttle buses provided
    • Yellow Line Trains every 16-20 minutes
    • Green Line Trains every 15-20 minutes

    MTA/MDOT

    Commuter Bus

    • Due to several roadblocks and street closures by the DC Department of Transportation, Commuter Bus Service will NOT be able to service the downtown Washington DC stops on Tuesday, January 5 and Wednesday, January 6, 2021, Instead, buses will terminate in the AM and originate in the PM at outlying WMATA Metro stations.
