We’ve made getting around even easier. Palm Desert and Victor Valley have officially joined the Greater Los Angeles metro area within Moovit.
By merging these regions into one “super metro,” you can now plan seamless, door-to-door trips between these areas and the rest of Greater LA without ever having to switch cities in the app. Whether you’re commuting from Victorville to DTLA or heading from Palm Desert to the coast, we’ve got you covered.
Do I Need to Do Anything?
Nope! Your app will update your metro area automatically. The next time you open Moovit, you’ll have full access to the expanded region and all its transit lines.
How to Manually Change Your Metro Area
If you ever need to double-check your settings or switch to a different region while traveling, here is how you do it:
On iOS: Tap the Metro Area name at the top left of the main screen.
On Android: Tap the Metro Area name at the top right of the main screen.
Select: Browse the list or search for “Greater Los Angeles” (or any other city you’re visiting!) to set it as your active area.
