Service 851e will start operating on Sunday, 27 May.
Service 851e will provide a faster connection for commuters travelling between Yishun and Chinatown.
An Express service, it will travel on the Central Expressway (CTE) and serve several MRT stations enroute – Yishun, Khatib, Yio Chu Kang, Little India, Rochor, Bugis, City Hall and Chinatown.
It will serve selected bus stops along the regular route of its parent service, Service 851, until it reaches Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6, after Block 304. Then it will travel on an express route and skip the sector between Marymount Road and Thomson Road, to arrive at Little India Station.
