Rail service changes starting from Friday, 01/03 🚝

We have gathered all the forthcoming changes in train services that you need to know about:

πŸš† Israel Railway

Suspension of Train Traffic on HaSharon Ring Railway Starting from March 1st, 2024 and Ending on May 8th, 2024

Starting from Friday, March 1st, 2024 and ending on Wednesday, May 8th, 2024 (inclusive), temporary changes will apply to train traffic on HaSharon Ring Railway, and train traffic will be suspended for approximately two months at the following stations: Ra’anana West, Ra’anana South, Hod HaSharon, Kfar Sava, Rosh Ha’Ayin North, Petah Tikva Sgula, Petah Tikva Kiryat Arye, and Bnei Brak.

The works are large-scale and are being carried out to connect theΒ new Eastern Rail with the national rail network in the Rosh Ha’Ayin area, along with other essential works all over HaSharon Ring Railway.

During the days of the works, shuttles for train passengers will operate from the closed stations to the Herzliya station (from there, you can continue your journey by train to all destinations), or to the Petah Tikva Kiryat Arye station, from which the light rail departs to many destinations around Gush Dan.Β In addition, joint teams of the local authorities in question, personnel from the Ministry of Transport and Israel Railways will work to improve the response to the passengers, on the days of the works.

Train traffic will return to normal on Thursday, May 9th, 2024, upon the resumption of service.

Changes in train services in Be’er Sheva, Friday, 01/03/24 only

Due to infrastructure works, changes will occur in train services on Friday, March 1st, 2024, in Be’er Sheva, and Be’er Sheva Center station will be closed for train services.

Passengers whose destination or origin is Be’er Sheva should use the “Be’er Sheva North University” station, which will remain open as usual.

Free shuttles will operate between Be’er Sheva stations.

Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, upon the resumption of service.

Train reinforcement at Haifa Hof HaCarmel station due to a football match between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Hadera

On Sunday, 03.03.24, a football match between Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Hadera will take place at the “Sammy Ofer Stadium” in Haifa.

At the end of the match, a special train (No. 8191) will be available to the fans, operating under the “Fill and Ride” method. It will depart from the Haifa Hof HaCarmel station and stop at the following stations: Binyamina, Hadera West, Netanya, Beit Yehoshua, Herzliya, Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv Hashalom,Tel Aviv Hahagana (last station).
Estimated departure time: 23:00.

Additionally, for the regular train (No. 135 – Nahariya to Modi’in Center), departing from the Haifa Hof HaCarmel station at 22:36, additional stops will be added at the following stations: Hadera West, Netanya, Beit Yehoshua, and Herzliya.
