Israel Railways renews its service on Monday, June 22 🚆

Dear passengers,

Israel Railways is expected to renew its service on Monday, June 22nd, as follows:

Stations which will remain closed at this point

Raanana West, Raanana South, Hod HaSharon Sokolov, Kfar Saba Nordau, Ben Gurion Airport, Jerusalem Malha, Jerusalem Biblical Zoo

Itzhak Navon Jerusalem – Tel Aviv Line

The line will operate between Jerusalem Itzhak Navon to Tel Aviv HaHagana. Starting Sunday, 28.6.2020, the line is expected to be extended to Tel Aviv Savidor Central station

Beer Sheva – Raanana Line

Will operate between Rosh Ha’ayin to Beer Sheva via Moshe Dayan, Ashdod due to electrification work. The frequency will be twice every hour

 

Night trains will not operate

 

Beit Yehoshua – Tel Aviv Savidor Central segment closure

Every night, starting 21:00, and on Fridays and Saturday nights, electrification work will take place on the coast line. Therefore, Tel Aviv University and Herzliya stations will be closed. The segment between Beit Yehoshua and Tel Aviv Savidor Central station will be closed

 

In addition, Israel Railways has announced guidelines for booking a ride as follows  🎫

 

1. Plan your itinerary on the Israel Railways website (select starting point and destination)

2. Choose the train that leaves at your desired time

3. Click the “To book a train entry voucher” button (the button will only be active if there is enough space on the train)

4. Fill in your details and click on the “Confirm Order” button

5. Once the voucher ordering process is complete, a certificate containing a unique barcode will be received by email or SMS

6. Upon arrival at the train station,  you will be asked to present the coupon containing the voucher and a valid ticket

7. The entrance to the station will be permitted in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines

8. Please note that in addition to the entry voucher, you must have a travel ticket or a Rav Kav loaded ticket

Note that in accordance with the Ministry of Transportation, it is mandatory to wear a face mask during all train rides.

We recommend you to follow the guidelines of the Ministries of Health and Transportation for your own health and safety as well as that of those around you.
