Intercity bus lines will return operating on weekends

Dear passengers, 

We have collected for you several updates that are worth knowing 

 Intercity buses will return operating on weekends

Starting the upcoming weekend, intercity bus lines that were canceled during the latest lockdown period will return operating on weekends. This includes the lines that operate between Tel Aviv and Ben Gurion Airport, as well as the lines to the holy places – the Western Wall, Rachel’s Tomb, the Tomb of Samuel, the Mount of Olives, and Mount Meron.


 Academy and educational institutions lines – will remain inactive

The bus lines that transport students to educational institutions and academy lines will remain inactive at this stage.


 Israel Railways continues to operate on Sundays – Thursdays excluding weekends

Israel Railways will continue to operate in its current format – on Sundays through Thursdays between ~05:00 to ~22:00. Ben Gurion Airport, Jerusalem (Malcha), Ra’anana (West and South), Hod Hasharon (Sokolov), and Kfar Saba (Nordau) will not operate at this stage.

Remember, it is mandatory to issue an entry pass for every train ride. More details can be found here.


 General public transportation guidelines


We mention that in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Transport, care must be taken to wear a face mask on every trip and to avoid traveling on public transportation in cases of symptoms of illness.
