May Bank Holiday Weekend Service Update

    🗓️ Bank Holiday Monday (May 4th)
    • Dublin Bus & Bus Éireann: A Sunday Timetable will operate across all routes on Monday, May 4th.

    • Luas: Trams will run on a Sunday schedule.

    🏃 Dublin Half Marathon (Sunday, May 3rd)

    Major diversions will be in place from 3:00 AM to 6:00 PM due to road closures on O’Connell Street and the North Quays.

    • Dublin Bus: Significant diversions on routes serving O’Connell St, Drumcondra, and Beaumont. O’Connell St Southbound is closed 03:00–13:00; Northbound is closed 06:30–10:00.

    • Bus Éireann: Routes 101, 103, 109, 111, and NX will bypass O’Connell St, using Gardiner St or Church St instead. Routes 115 and 132 will terminate at Busáras.

    • Luas Red Line: * 07:00 – 09:45: No trams between Heuston and The Point.

      • 09:45 – 14:00: Service resumes between Heuston and Connolly only.

    • Luas Green Line:

      • 07:00 – 09:30: No trams between St. Stephen’s Green and Dominick. Service will operate in two loops: Brides Glen to St. Stephen’s Green and Broombridge to Dominick.

    🏗️ Engineering Works (Saturday, May 2nd – Monday, May 4th)
    • Luas Red Line: Partial closure between Tallaght/Saggart and Heuston. A replacement bus service will serve these stops. Trams will only run between Heuston and The Point (except during marathon hours).

    • DART & Rail: No DART service between Connolly and Malahide/Howth. Northern Commuter trains are replaced by buses between Connolly and Drogheda.

    🌙 Nitelink Service
    • Friday, May 1st & Saturday, May 2nd: Full Nitelink service will operate.

    • Sunday, May 3rd: No Nitelink service (as Monday is the Bank Holiday).


    Previous
