HK Book Fair 2017 is coming this week. In order to provide convenience for commuters, KMB will strengthen service and introduce 3 special routes. Meanwhile, NWFB will also introduce 2 special routes.
HK Book Fair 2017 will be held from July 17 to 25.
From July 21 & 22 (Friday & Saturday), KMB introduce 3 special routes for commuters back to Kowloon & New Territory.
The 3 routes are:
- 168R [Wan Chai (HKCEC Extension) → Yuen Long (West)], Service time: 23:00 -00:00,Frequency: 30 mins;
- 105R [Wan Chai (HKCEC Extension) → Mei Foo] , Service time: 22:00 – 01:00, Frequency: 10-15 mins;
- 111R [Wan Chai (HKCEC Extension) → Yue Man Square ],Service time: 22:00 – 01:00, Frequency: 10-15 mins.
168R is a new route launched this year.
In addition, KMB will extend the last bus of route 978 [Wah Ming←→ Wan Chai (North)] towards Wah Ming until 00:00.
Meanwhile, KMB will strengthen the service of route 960, 961 & 968.
NWFB will provide two special routes, Route 105R and 111R.
They will depart from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (“HKCEC”) to Mei Foo and Kwun Tong on 21 and 22 July from 10:00pm to 1:00am for passengers returning to Kowloon.
Route 105R will depart from outside Expo Drive Entrance, via Cross Harbour Tunnel, Gascoigne Road, Nathan Road and Cheung Sha Wan Road, to Mei Foo Bus Terminus.
Route 111R will depart from outside Expo Drive Entrance, via Cross Harbour Tunnel, Chatham Road North, Ma Tau Wai Road, Ma Tau Chung Road, Prince Edward Road East, Choi Hung Road and Kwun Tong Road, to Kwun Tong (Yue Man Square) Bus Terminus.
