Light Night Leeds returns this Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, and many city centre bus routes will be diverted to make room for the event. Changes start from around 4:30pm and last until the end of service on both evenings. Some routes start later, as noted below.
If you’re heading into town for the festival, Elland Road and Stourton Park & Ride (PR1 and PR3) are running extra evening services, so you can park outside the centre and ride in.
Plan your trip in Moovit before you leave. Many usual city centre stops won’t be served during the diversions.
At a glance
Services run as normal until around 4:30pm. After that, they follow one of three patterns:
- Ending at Leeds Bus Station: 33, 34, 60, 60A, 72, X6, 200–203, 229, 254, 508 and A1 skip most or all city centre stops. Use Leeds Bus Station instead.
- Ending on King Street (stop Wellington J): 14, 15, 55, 55C, 65, 74, 75 and X11 start and finish at Wellington J.
- Diverted through the centre: all other affected routes still cross the city but use different streets and stops. Check the details for your route below.
