Customer Advice
Your journey will be substantially disrupted if you are travelling on the following routes:
Between Three Bridges and Gatwick Airport – this is due to a points failure blocking several lines near Three Bridges
Between Barnham, Horsham and Three Bridges – this is due to a cow having been struck by a train near Amberley
It is not currently possible to travel on our services between Barnham, Horsham and Three Bridges. Please travel later today or use another route, if one is available in your area.
If you are travelling through the Gatwick Airport area, you will need to leave at least 30-45 minutes of extra time to get to your destination, and you may also need to consider alternative options for your journey.
Service changes:
Gatwick Express services will be suspended.
Southern services between Southampton Central / Portsmouth / Bognor Regis and London Victoria will be diverted via Hove, where possible, not stopping at stations between either Barnham or Ford and Three Bridges.
Thameslink services will generally be unable to run between Horsham and Three Bridges. This will cause changes at short notice to a number of services.
Thameslink services between Three Bridges and Bedford (via Redhill) will only run between Gatwick Airport and Bedford, not serving Three Bridges.
Other Southern and Thameslink services in the area are likely to be delayed, and may be further amended.
