    Major disruption between London St Pancras International and Bedford expected until the end of the day

    Description

    Some lines have reopened following damage to the overhead electric wires between London St Pancras International and Bedford. Whilst repairs continue, trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised. Major disruption is expected until the end of the day.

    Additional information. Services at London Kings Cross are disrupted today due to engineering work.

    Following damage to the overhead wires at St Albans, some lines have now reopened. Services will shortly be starting to resume, but please continue to check your journey before you travel and allow an extra 60 minutes to complete your journey today.

    If your planned service is cancelled then you may need to wait for the next available service for use an alternative route to complete your journey instead.

    Please note that Thameslink services between Luton and Herne Hill will be suspended until the end of the day.

    • London Buses via any reasonable route

    • London Underground via any reasonable route

    • Elizabeth line between Farringdon, London Liverpool Street and Abbey Wood

    North of London

    • Thameslink and Great Northern services via any reasonable route. Please be aware that replacement buses are running on most parts of the Great Northern network today, so this would add additional time to your journey

    • London Northwestern Railway between London Euston, Watford Junction, Hemel Hempstead and Milton Keynes Central, as well as between St Albans Abbey and Watford Junction

    • Greater Anglia between London Liverpool Street and Cambridge

    • London Underground – through and around London as well as Northern line to High Barnet and Edgware

    • London Buses – Between London St Pancras International & Elstree & Borehamwood

    • Arriva Buses on route 321 between Luton, St Albans and Watford Junction, 100/101 between Stevenage, Luton Airport and Luton, 301 between St Albans and Hatfield

    South of London

    • Any alternative Southern, Thameslink or Gatwick Express service via any reasonable route.

    • London Buses between London Blackfriars and Sutton via any reasonable route and also between St Albans and London St Pancras International

    • Southeastern services via any reasonable route

    • METROBUS services between Redhill, Gatwick Airport, Three Bridges, Crawley and Horsham.
