Forecast severe weather today will impact a number of Southern, Gatwick Express, Great Northern and Thameslink routes. Most routes will be disrupted. Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Do NOT travel on Southern, Gatwick Express and Thameslink services until further notice this evening.
Some Great Northern routes will also be disrupted.
Any alternative travel options are not guaranteed.
A number of weather related incidents means trains are unable to run across multiple routes, mainly south of London. Other areas may also be affected.
Trains are likely to be cancelled or revised to only complete parts of their normal journeys.

Lines have reopened following a failure of the electricity supply between London Paddington and Maidenhead. Trains may be cancelled, severely delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 22:00.
