London Weekend (March 5-6)

    Underground


    District line
    Trains will not run between West Kensington and Ealing Broadway/Richmond while we replace track between Hammersmith and Turnham Green.

    Piccadilly line
    There will be no service between Hammersmith and Northfields/Uxbridge. There will be a significantly reduced service between Hammersmith and Cockfosters. Please use alternative Tube services where possible. For travel to Heathrow, take the Central line to Ealing Broadway for an express replacement bus service and allow more time for your journey.

    Overground


    Tonight, Thursday, there will be no service after 22:30 between Hackney Downs and Chingford due to Network Rail track work.

    Trains will not run between Romford and Upminster, due to Crossrail construction and Network Rail infrastructure work.

    On Sunday, there will be no service between the following stations:
    • Gospel Oak and Barking until midday, to prepare the line for electrification
    • Gospel Oak and Stratford due to bridge replacement work at Highbury Corner and Network Rail track work

    Rail


    Trains will not run between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. This is due to Network Rail overhead line and track upgrade work.

    Emirates Air Line


    From Monday until Sunday 13 March, the Emirates Air Line is closed for planned maintenance work.

    Buses


    Blackwall Tunnel – From midnight on Friday night until 08:00 on Saturday, the tunnel will be closed southbound.

    Central London – From midnight on Friday night until midnight on Sunday night, Knightsbridge will have lane restrictions in place westbound between William Street and Wilton Place.

    Tower Hill – From Saturday until Saturday 19 March, Shorter Street will be closed westbound. Bus route 15 will be on diversion.

    Central London – From midday until 16:00 on Saturday, there will be road closures and delays to traffic, including Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Cockspur Street.

    Neasden – From midnight on Saturday night until 07:30 on Sunday, the westbound carriageway of the A406 will be closed between Staples Corner and Brentfield Road. From midnight on Sunday night to05:00 on Monday morning, the eastbound carriageway will be closed between Harrow Road and Staples Corner.

    Central London – From midday until 17:00 on Sunday, there will be delays to traffic on roads including Trafalgar Square, Oxford Circus and Regent Street.

    Central London – From Monday until Sunday 27 March, Upper Thames Street will be closed eastbound each night from 20:00 until 05:00, between Puddle Dock and Great Tower Street. On Wednesday 9 and Thursday 10 March, it will be closed westbound from Queen Street Place between these times on both nights.

    Redbridge – From Monday until Saturday 19 March, there will be lane restrictions from 22:00 until 05:30each night on A406 North Circular Road at the junction of Redbridge Roundabout.

    Brent Cross – From Tuesday until early April, A41 Brent Cross Flyover will be closed each night from22:00 until 05:00 at the junction of A406 North Circular Road.
