    Plan ahead this weekend if you are traveling across London. Several scheduled service adjustments, track maintenance closures, and local event disruptions are taking place across public transit lines and roads.
    Below is a detailed breakdown of all public transit and road service changes.

    πŸš‡ Underground Updates

    Jubilee Line

    Due to track work:
    • Friday Night Tube (Oct 2–3): No service between Finchley Road and Stratford.
      • Alternatives: Rail replacement buses will run, stopping at North Greenwich, Canning Town, and Stratford.
    • Saturday & Sunday (Oct 3–4): No daytime service between Green Park and Canary Wharf.
      • Alternatives: Use alternative Tube, Windrush line, Elizabeth line, or DLR services, or local bus routes. (Note: Windrush line services will not stop at Canada Water; use Surrey Quays instead).
      • Traveling to The O2? Take the Central or Elizabeth line to Stratford or District or Hammersmith & City line to West Ham, then change for Jubilee line services to North Greenwich.
    • Saturday Night Tube (Oct 3–4): No service between Green Park and Stratford.
      • Alternatives: Rail replacement buses will run, stopping at North Greenwich, Canning Town, and Stratford.

    Northern Line

    • Friday Night Tube (Oct 2–3, 02:45 – 04:15): Trains will not stop at Waterloo station due to track work on the Jubilee line.
      • Alternatives: Exit the Northern line at Embankment and walk or wheel via Golden Jubilee Bridges. Alternatively, get off at Kennington and take bus route N155 from stop KB to Lower Marsh, a short walk from Waterloo.

    Victoria Line

    • Saturday (Oct 3) 19:30 to Sunday (Oct 4) 10:00: No service between Victoria and Brixton.
    • Line-wide impact: Reduced service and delays will affect the rest of the line due to speed restrictions in the Brixton area until essential track crossing repair work is completed. Normal service is expected to resume by midday Sunday.

    Weaver Line

    • Thursday (Oct 1) after 22:45: No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford due to Network Rail maintenance work. Use Tube services or local/replacement bus routes.

    Windrush Line

    • Saturday & Sunday (Oct 3–4): Trains will not stop at Canada Water station, including Friday and Saturday Night Overground services, due to Jubilee line track work. Use Surrey Quays station for access.
    • Sunday (Oct 4): No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction due to Network Rail maintenance work. Rail replacement buses will run between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.
    • Monday, Tuesday & Thursday (Oct 5, 6 & 8) after 23:15: No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction due to Network Rail maintenance work. Use Tube, national rail, or local bus routes.

    Elizabeth Line

    • Saturday (Oct 3) 23:00 to Sunday (Oct 4) 09:00: Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell, or West Ealing due to Network Rail maintenance work. Use Tube, national rail, or local bus routes.

    🚊 DLR & Trams

    Docklands Light Railway (DLR)

    • Sunday (Oct 4): No service between Tower Gateway and Shadwell due to third-party works. Use Tube, Windrush line, or local bus routes.

    London Trams

    Due to essential engineering works:
    • Friday (Oct 2) 22:00 through Thursday (Oct 8): No service between Wandle Park and Reeves Corner. Use local bus routes.
    • Sunday (Oct 4): No service to or from Elmers End. Use local bus routes.

    Santander Cycles

    The following docking stations are suspended over the weekend:
    • Camley Street (Camden Town)
    • Guildhouse Street (Victoria)
    • Ladbroke Grove Central (Ladbroke Grove)
    • Marylebone Lane (Marylebone)

    Key Roadworks & Closures

    • A41 Brent Cross Flyover: Essential safety works will cause lane restrictions on the A41 Hendon Way (Oct 1–28) and A406 North Circular westbound (Oct 1–Nov 20). Full overnight closures (22:00–05:00) apply to A41 Hendon Way southbound (Oct 1–2) and northbound (Oct 5–6). Signed diversions will be in place.
    • A40 Westway: Directional closures between Westway Roundabout and Marylebone Flyover:
      • Oct 2 (22:00) to Oct 5 (05:00): Eastbound closure.
      • Oct 23–25 & Oct 30–Nov 2: Westbound closures.
    • City of London Filming: Multiple road closures around Lothbury, Threadneedle Street, and Old Broad Street from Saturday 07:00 (Oct 3) to Monday 05:00 (Oct 5). Local buses remain unaffected.
    • Events & Marches (Sunday, Oct 4):
      • Central & South London Cycling Event (06:45–18:30): The Mall will be closed, starting from The Mall and finishing at Battersea Park.
      • Tower Hamlets March (13:00–16:00): March taking place from Whitechapel Station to St George’s Garden via Whitechapel Road, Leman Street, and Cable Street. Local road closures and bus diversions will be in place.
      • Kingston Half-Marathon: Running along footpaths throughout the day. No road closures or bus diversions, but expect increased pedestrian traffic.
