Several Tube, London Overground, Elizabeth line and Tram services are changing this week because of engineering and maintenance work. Check the details below and plan your trip in Moovit before you travel.
London Underground
District line
- Sunday 8 November: Reduced service between Barking and Upminster because of track repairs. Westbound passengers heading to central London should change at Barking and cross to platform 3 to continue.
Northern line
- Until Sunday 8 November: Trains will not stop at Burnt Oak while platform works continue as part of making the station step-free. Use bus routes 204 or N5 instead:
- Burnt Oak to Edgware: route 204 from stop R, or N5 from stop S
- Burnt Oak to Colindale, or for southbound Northern line trains: route 204 or N5 from stop N
- Edgware to Burnt Oak: route 204 or N5 from stop D in the bus station
- Northbound to Burnt Oak: get off at Colindale and take route 204 or N5 from stop CB
- Extra buses will run on route 204 at peak times.
- Pay as you go bus journeys on routes 204 and N5 between Burnt Oak and Colindale, and between Burnt Oak and Edgware, will be refunded automatically. You don’t need to apply, and refunds take about a week.
London Overground
These closures are for Network Rail maintenance work.
Mildmay line
- Thursday 5 November: No westbound service from Camden Road to Willesden Junction after 23:45. Use the Tube or local buses.
- Thursday 5 and Friday 6 November: No southbound service from Willesden Junction to Shepherd’s Bush until 06:15 each morning. Use local buses.
- Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November: No service between Willesden Junction and Clapham Junction. Use local buses.
Weaver line
- Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November: No service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:45 each night. Use the Tube, or local or replacement buses.
Windrush line
- Friday 6 November: No service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace or West Croydon after 23:30. Use Southern services, or local or replacement buses.
- Sunday 8 November: No service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. Use Tube and rail services, or local buses. Rail replacement buses will run between Canada Water and Clapham Junction.
Elizabeth line
- Saturday 7 November: Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line, Hanwell or West Ealing after 23:00 because of Network Rail maintenance work. Use local buses.
London Trams
- Thursday 5 November: No service between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction, Elmers End or New Addington because of engineering works. Rail replacement buses will run between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction via Elmers End, and between East Croydon and New Addington.
Buses
- Until Friday 20 November: Buses will still serve Brent Cross, but some journeys may take longer while safety works on the A41 flyover reduce road space. Some buses may be diverted during the overnight closures on Thursday 12 and Friday 13 November.
- Sunday 8 November: Road closures for Remembrance Sunday across London may delay or divert buses.
