    Events


    On Saturday, there are separate events and demonstrations taking place at various times throughout the day. From 07:00 until 16:30, buses will be on diversion or stop short of their destination. Roads in the area will be heavily congested so please avoid driving in the area and seek alternative routes. The Tube will be the best way to get around central London, although Westminster, Charing Cross, Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, Embankment and Temple Tube stations may be busier than usual due to their proximity to the affected areas.

    Underground


    Circle line
    There will be no service on the entire line. This is to allow us to carry out station improvement work at Moorgate, Barbican and Liverpool Street and track replacement work at Aldgate.

    District line
    Trains will not run between Tower Hill and Barking while we carry out track replacement work at Aldgate East and Plaistow as well as Crossrail work at Whitechapel and station improvement work at Stepney Green.

    Hammersmith & City line
    There will be no service between King’s Cross St. Pancras and Barking. This is to allow us to carry out track replacement work at Aldgate East and Plaistow as well as Crossrail work at Whitechapel and station improvement work at Stepney Green.

    Metropolitan line
    Trains will not run between King’s Cross St. Pancras and Aldgate. This is to allow us to carry out station improvement work at Moorgate, Barbican and Liverpool Street and track replacement work at Aldgate.

    Overground


    There will be no service between Highbury & Islington and Shadwell or Surrey Quays and New Cross, due to Crossrail construction work.

    On Sunday, there will be the following changes, due to Network Rail track work:
    • There will be no service until 11:00 between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction
    • Trains will not run until 12:15 between Euston and Kilburn High Road

    Until February 2017, there are closures on the Gospel Oak to Barking line as follows
    • Trains will not run between South Tottenham and Barking for the entire period
    • At weekends, there will be no service between Gospel Oak and Barking

    Buses


    There will be no service between Beckton and Poplar, due to track work.

    Buses


    Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination:

    Wembley – From 15:00 until around midnight on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including the A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to events.

    Central LondonOn Saturday, various events and demonstrations will impact some bus routes, and buses may be diverted or stop short of their destination.
