Weekly Travel Changes

    Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend. There are no planned works on London Underground, and most of the network will be open with services running as normal. Please check if any of the following affect you.

    Overground


    Tonight, Thursday, trains will not run between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:45 due to Network Rail track work.

    All weekend there will be no service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon for Network Rail track work.

    On Saturday, trains will not run until 09:15 between Highbury & Islington and New Cross/New Cross Gate/Clapham Junction, due to track work.

    On Sunday, there will be no service between the following stations:
    • Highbury & Islington and New Cross/New Cross Gate/Clapham Junction until 11:15, due to track work
    • Romford and Upminster, due to Crossrail construction work and Network Rail infrastructure work

    DLR


    There will be no service between Bow Church and Stratford all weekend. This is for Crossrail construction work at Pudding Mill Lane.

    TfL Rail


    On Sunday, trains will not run between Ilford and Brentwood until 09:00. After 09:00, trains will not run between Chadwell Heath and Brentwood.

    There is no service between Brentwood and Shenfield until late May. This is while Network Rail carry out major work at Shenfield to upgrade tracks, signalling and overhead lines.

    Buses


    Hanger Lane – Various lane restrictions are in place between 22:00 and 05:00 each night until early June in all directions at the Hanger Lane gyratory.
    Central London – From 18:00 until 20:00 tomorrow, Friday, there will be delays to traffic on Whitehall. This is for a march.
    Victoria – From 21:00 on Friday until 05:00 on Monday, the junctions of Bressenden Place and Buckingham Palace Road will be closed. Additionally, the junction will be closed from 21:00 until 05:00 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and there will be lane restrictions on Bressenden Place during the day.
    Hounslow – From 11:00 until 18:00 on Sunday, there will be delays and road closures in the area, including on Wellington Road South northbound, Bath Road eastbound from the A4, and Staines Road eastbound from Green Lane. This is for a procession.
    West London –  Between midday and 19:00, delays are expected in the areas surrounding Putney, Hammersmith and Chiswick Bridges.

    Wembley – From 11:30 until 18:30 on Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road.
    Camden – From 09:30 on Tuesday until 16:30 on Wednesday, there will be lane restrictions on Camden Road at the junction of St Pancras Way.
