London Weekend Travel Changes

    Getting around London this weekend.

    London Underground


    Circle Line, Hammersmith & City Line

    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Paddington and Hammersmith.

    Overground


    Tonight, Thursday 14 March, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town / Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:45. Rail replacement buses will run.

    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Romford and Upminster. Use local bus routes 165, 248 or 370.

    On Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction. Trains to and from Clapham Junction are diverted to and from Battersea Park. Use local buses or Southern services between Battersea Park and Clapham Junction.

    From Saturday 16 until further notice, there will be a reduced service between Gospel Oak and Barking. Trains will run about every 30 minutes.

    On Monday 18 and Tuesday 19 March, there will be no southbound service from Sydenham to West Croydon after 23:45 each evening. Use Moovit to plan your journey using buses.

     

    TfL Rail


    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. Rail replacement buses will run between Stratford and Romford, and between Chadwell Heath and Shenfield, also stopping at Newbury Park.

    On Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals 2 and 3 until 07:30. Use local buses or the Piccadilly line for Heathrow.

     

    Emirates Air Line


    Until Sunday 17 March, Emirates Air Line will be closed. This is due to annual maintenance work.

     

    London Trams


    On Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 March, there will be no service between Sandilands and Birkbeck / Elmers End. This is due to ballast and track replacement work. Tram replacement buses will run between East Croydon and Birkbeck / Elmers End.

     

     Santander Cycles


    The following docking stations will be out of service this weekend:

    • Rodney Street, Angel, for health and safety reasons
    • Prince of Wales Drive, Battersea, due to utility works
    • Cardinal Place, Victoria, removed due to building works
    • Upper Richmond Road, East Putney, due to building works
    • Whiteley’s, Bayswater, due to building works
    • Appold Street, Liverpool Street, due to site relocation
    • Portugal Street, Holborn, due to building works
    • Butler Place, Westminster, due to a power outage
    • Baldwin Street, St. Luke’s, due to a power outage
    • Knightsbridge, Knightsbridge, due to a power outage
