Weekly Travel Changes

    Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend. There are no planned works on London Underground, and most of the network will be open with services running as normal. Please check if any of the following affect you.

    Overground


    All weekend there will be no service between the following stations:
    • Romford and Upminster, due to Crossrail construction work and Network Rail infrastructure work
    • Highbury & Islington and Shadwell, due to Crossrail construction work
    • Surrey Quays and New Cross, due to Crossrail construction work

    From Monday to Thursday next week, trains will not run between Hackney Downs and Enfield Town/Cheshunt (via Seven Sisters) after 22:45 due to Network Rail track work.

    DLR


    No service between Bow Church and Stratford all weekend.

    TfL Rail


    All weekend, trains will not run on the entire line and there is no service between Brentwood and Shenfield until late May.

    Buses


    Bus users will be affected by the following this weekend.

    West London – Until Saturday 1 April, there are lane restrictions in both directions on Cromwell Road between Ashburn Place and Ashburn Gardens. This is for junction improvement works.

    City of London – From 06:00 on Saturday until 21:00 on Sunday, there will be lane restrictions on Bishopsgate at the junction of Threadneedle Street. This is for a crane operation.

    Central London – From 10:00 until 17:00 on Saturday, roads in the area will be busier than usual and may be subject to closures, including Park Lane, Piccadilly, St. James’s Street, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, Whitehall and Parliament Square. This is for a march.

    Wembley – From 14:00 until 21:00 on Sunday, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is due to an event.
