ย ๐ The bus stop facing the Ape and Apple public house on John Dalton Street/ Deansgate will be closed until further notice. Passengers should use the next or previous stop.
ย ๐ย Due to heavy congestion in Rusholme causing lengthy delays to the 41 and 53 bus Go North West services, they will be diverting from 7pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings until end of service. The 42, 42B, 42C, 43, 142, and 143 Stagecoach services will also be on diversion from 8pm to 1am on Friday and Saturday. This will be in place until further notice.
ย ๐ย There is no right turn from St Mary’s Gate onto Deansgate outbound, (towards Salford). As a result, service 8 will be on diversion. This is expected to be in place until July 2024.
ย ๐ย The M66 will be closed from Junction 1 to A56/A680/B6527 (Bent Gate) junction to facilitate carriageway repairs. It is expected the southbound closure will be in place until mid July 2023. During this time, the X43 will be on diversion however, no bus stops will be affected.
ย ๐ย Deansgate from Blackfriars Road to Quay Street heading in the southbound direction, is permanently a one-way junction. As a result, services 191 and 197 will be unable to access their Princess Street terminus. Services will divert from Oxford Street to terminate permanently at Stop EV, located on Chorlton Street opposite the National Express coach station. Free Bus services are also on diversion.
ย ๐ย Deansgate will be closed in one-way between Bridge Street and Quays Street. As a result, free bus services 1, 2 and 3 will be on diversion. This is expected to be in place until April 2024.
ย ๐ย Chepstow Street bus stop (SV) will be closed until further notice. As a result, buses 33, 255, 256 and X50 will be on diversion.
ย ๐ย Piccadilly approach will be closed on Sunday 16, 23 and 30 April and Sunday 7 May. During this time, Free Bus 1, 2 and 3 will depart from Aytoun Street.
