    WMATA 

    Metrorail Updates:

    • Metrorail operates from 5:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. on Weekdays, 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sundays
    • Weeknight service adjustments for Monday, April 5th through Friday, April 9th
    • Red Line Trains every 6-15 minutes
    • NO BLUE LINE SERVICE – Arlington Cemetery Closed
    • Orange & Green Line Transit every 12-20 minutes
    • Silver Line Trains every 12-20 minutes. Addison Rd closed
    • Yellow Line Trains every 12-20 minutes operating in two segments: Huntington – Greenbelt and Franconia-Springfield – Mt Vernon Sq/National Airport

    Blue Line

    • Through Sun, May 23rd, Arlington Cemetery station is closed due to the platform improvement project.
    • Through Monday’s closing, buses replace trains between Braddock Rd & Nat’l Airport due to scheduled maintenance. Shuttle bus service provided.
    • Through Monday’s closing, Franconia & Van Dorn St closed due to scheduled maintenance. Buses provided to/from Eisenhower Avenue.
    • Through Sun, May 23rd, Addison Rd is closed & trains are bypassing due to a platform improvement project. Shuttles provided to/from Capitol Hgts.
    • Through Sun, May 23rd, no Blu Line svc. Use Yel Line for svc between DC & VA. Use Sil Line for svc between DC & PG County. Info: wmata.com/platforms

    Silver Line

    • Through Sun, May 23rd, Addison Rd is closed & trains are bypassing due to a platform improvement project. Shuttles provided to/from Capitol Hgts.

    Metrobus:

    Alerts:

    • From Sunday, March 14, 2021, changes will be implemented on 59 Metrobus routes serving the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. New running times will be implemented to reflect current traffic conditions and improve on-time performance.

    Updates:

    • Metrobus operates from 4:00 a.m. until 12:00 a.m. on a Modified Sunday Schedule.
    • Weekend schedules run from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m.
    • Mon-Fri: Buses arrive on a Sunday schedule unless otherwise noted. Sat-Sun: Buses arrive every 30 minutes unless otherwise noted.
    • Metrobus has increased its service from August 16 on many routes and the following week on August 23 will substantially increase service – For more info. see HERE
