The main entrance and exit to the Alewife garage will be closed through Jan 17 for construction.

The Hancock Street lot will be closed beginning on Mon, Oct. 12 to allow for the construction of the North Quincy Garage. As an alternative, over 300 spaces will be available at the Newport Avenue lot. MBTA.com/NorthQuincy

The Braintree and Quincy Adams parking garages will be closing for three months beginning Mon, Oct 5 for accelerated concrete replacement work.

The pedestrian bridge at the Braintree Parking Garage is permanently closed due to garage renovations. MBTA.com/south-shore-garages

🔴For access to Braintree Station, travel down to the first floor and use the pedestrian crosswalk to enter the station at the street level.
This construction is part of the South Shore Parking Garages Improvements and Renovations Project. The pedestrian bridge will be replaced by a new garage lobby featuring elevators and stairwells.Affected routes:

Mattapan Trolley

⚫Station Issue UPCOMING

Mattapan station: Beginning January 9 through January 18, Gillespies Lane will be closed due to construction. Customers can use the walking path in the parking lot as an alternate option to access Mattapan station.

The Valenti Way entrance to North Station will be closed from Jan 5 – 18 to allow for maintenance work. Customers can enter the station at the Causeway and Haverhill Street entrances.

The front parking lot at Wellington station will close on July 6th due to construction. Customers can use the rear lot as an alternative parking option.

🟢Service Change (ONGOING)

Shuttle buses replace Green Line service between North Station and Lechmere until Spring 2021 to allow for work on the Green Line Extension and the Lechmere Viaduct Rehabilitation Project. More: MBTA.com/GLEwork

Please allow for extra travel time. All shuttle buses and stops are accessible.
For some weekends in June, shuttles will be extended to run between Haymarket and Lechmere.Affected stops:
