Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around Melbourne and regional Victoria. While most services are running as normal, some of the following changes may affect your journey.
Trains
Alamein, Belgrave, Glen Waverley, Hurstbridge, Lilydale and South Morang lines
Lines be affected by temporary platform changes at Flinders Street Station on March 25 & 26.
Craigieburn line
Buses replace services between Essendon and Craigieburn from 8.30pm to last service on March 30.
Buses replace trains between Essendon and Craigieburn from 8.30pm to last service on April 2-6.
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
Trains replaced by buses between Dandenong and Cranbourne/Pakenham from 12.30am until the last service onMarch 26.
Buses replace trains between Dandenong and Cranbourne/Pakenham from 1am April 1st, to last service on April 2nd. Buses will continue to replace train services between Dandenong and Pakenham to the last service on April 5.
Frankston line
Trains replaced by buses between Moorabbin and Frankston after 7.45pm from March 26-29.
Sandringham line
Buses replace trains between South Yarra and Sandringham after 8.30pm from April 2-5.
Trams
Multiple routes
Route 1, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 12, 16, 35 (City Circle), 64, 67, 72, 86, 96 and 109 trams affected by temporary service alterations between 5.30am and 8.30pm each day from Saturday 25 March until 8.30pm on Sunday, 26 March.
VLine
Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines
Lines affected by temporary service alterations from the first service to last service on Sunday, 26 March 2017.
Services on the Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines are affected by temporary service alterations from the first service on Saturday 1 April until the last service on Wednesday, 5 April 2017.
Maryborough line
Road coaches replace trains between Ballarat and Maryborough from Saturday April 1 to last service on April 3.
Seymour line
One train service on the Seymour line will be affected by a service alteration each weekday evening until further notice.
Train services on the Seymour line are affected by service alterations from the first service to last service on March 30.
Selected train services on the Seymour line are affected by service alterations in the afternoon and evening each night from Sunday 2 April until the last service on Thursday, 6 April 2017.
Seymour and Shepparton lines
Train services on the Seymour and Shepparton lines will be replaced by road coaches from the first service on Saturday 25 March until the last service on Sunday, 26 March.
Warrnambool line
Due to temporary speed restrictions between Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool stations, train services on the Warrnambool line will be affected by temporary service alterations until further notice.
