Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around Melbourne and regional Victoria. While most services are running as normal, some of the following changes may affect your journey.
Trains
Craigieburn line
Buses replace trains between Essendon and Craigieburn from 8.30pm to last service on March 30.
Buses replace train services between Essendon and Craigieburn from 8.30pm to last service each night from Sunday 2 April 2 until April 6.
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
Services replaced by buses between Caulfield and Oakleigh after 11pm each night untilMarch 30.
Buses replace services between Dandenong and Cranbourne/Pakenham from 1am on April 1 to last service on April 2. Buses continue to replace services between Dandenong and Pakenham until last service on April 5.
Services replaced by buses between Caulfield and Oakleigh from 11pm until the last service on April 6.
Buses replace train services between Caulfield and Dandenong from 12.30am on April 8 to last service April 9.
Sandringham line
Services replaced by buses between South Yarra and Sandringham after 8.30pm from April 2 to the last service on April 5.
South Morang line
Buses replace trains between Clifton Hill and South Morang after 8pm from April 9 to the last service on April 12.
Trams
Routes 12, 78 and 109
Trams 12, 78 and 109 trams are affected by temporary service alterations from 12.01am on April 8 to 5am April 11.
Route 55
Will not service Stop 2 (Market Street/Flinders Lane) until late 2019.
VLine
Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines
Lines affected by temporary service alterations from the first service on April 1 to last service on April 5.
Road coaches will replace train services on the Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines from the first service on April 8 to last service on April 9.
Echuca line
Due to level crossing investigations, road coaches will replace train services between Echuca and Bendigo stations until further notice.
Geelong and Warrnambool lines
Due to signal upgrades and track improvement works, road coaches will replace train services between Southern Cross and Geelong/Warrnambool stations from the first service on April 8 until the last service on April 16. Road coaches will continue to replace train services on the Warrnambool line until the last service on April 17.
Maryborough line
Road coaches replace trains between Ballarat and Maryborough from Saturday April 1 to last service on April 3.
Seymour line
One train service on the Seymour line will be affected by a service alteration each weekday evening until further notice.
Selected train services on the Seymour line are affected by service alterations in the afternoon and evening each night from April 2 until the last service on April 6.
Warrnambool line
Due to temporary speed restrictions between Waurn Ponds and Warrnambool stations, train services on the Warrnambool line will be affected by temporary service alterations until further notice.
