Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around Melbourne and regional Victoria until Sunday, 5 March 2017. While most services are running as normal, some of the following changes may affect your journey.
Labour Day Holiday
Craigieburn line
Buses replace trains between Essendon and Craigieburn after 8.30pm each night from March 98until the last service on March 9.
Train services between Broadmeadows and Craigieburn replaced by buses from 1am on March 11 until the last service on March 13.
Buses replace trains between Essendon and Craigieburn after 8.30pm each night from Wednesday 15 March until the last service on Thursday, 16 March 2017.
Cranbourne and Pakenham lines
Buses replace train services between Caulfield and Oakleigh from 9.30pm until the last service on March 9.
Train services between Caulfield and Oakleigh replaced by buses from 5.30pm until the last service on March 12.
Carnegie Station will be temporarily closed from 1am on January 23 until the last service on March 12.
Flagstaff and Parliament stations
No lift access at Flagstaff and Parliament stations from the first service on January 3 until the last service on March 12.
Hurstbridge line
Buses replace train services between Clifton Hill and Greensborough stations from 8pm on March 17 until the last service on March 19.
Sunbury line
Buses replace train services between Sunshine and Sunbury stations from the first service on March 8 until the last service on March 13.
Trams
St Kilda Road trams
Routes 1, 3a, 5, 6, 8, 16, 55, 64, 67 and 72 trams affected by temporary service alterations from the service until 2pm on March 13.
55
55 trams (to Domain Interchange) will not service Stop 2 (Market Street/Flinders Lane) until late 2019.
VLine
Albury line
Albury line will be affected by temporary service alterations from the first service on March 11 to last service on March 13.
Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines
Coaches replace some services on the Bairnsdale and Traralgon lines from 4pm until the last service on March 12.
Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines
Coaches replace trains on the Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines from the first service on March 8 to last service on March 13.
Seymour line
One train service on the Seymour line will be affected by a service alteration each weekday evening until further notice.
Selected trains on the Seymour line will be affected by service alterations in the afternoon and evening each night on March 8 & 9.
Line affected by alterations in the afternoon and evening each night on March 15 and 16.
Selected services affected by alterations in the afternoon and evening each night from March 19 – 22 March.
Seymour and Shepparton lines
Trains on the Seymour and Shepparton lines are replaced by road coaches from the first service on March 11 until the last service on March 13.
Warrnambool line
Services on the Warrnambool line are affected by temporary service alterations until further notice.
