“The Autorité régionale de transport métropolitain (ARTM), the provincial agency that oversees Montreal-area public transit, announced on Tuesday that virtual “contact free” bus tickets will be available for purchase via smartphones beginning Sept. 1. They will be valid on buses operated by Exo as well as transit authorities in Montreal, Laval and Longueuil.”
exo Laurentides: Changes to service to the Sainte-Thérèse terminus via rue Turgeon
As of May 25, the City of Sainte-Thérèse will undertake major work on Turgeon Street and its surroundings. In these circumstances, exo will be forced to make several changes to the bus lines that pass through rue Turgeon. Several lines will no longer be able to serve downtown.
In order to bring customers to Sainte-Thérèse station, the embarkation and disembarkation platforms of certain bus lines will be moved to rue des Pianos, located north of the station, at the corner of the rue Virginie:
Camillien-Houde way is closed to traffic every Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m until September 27.
Westbound: Buses do not run on Remembrance and do not go to Lac-des-Castors. They are rerouted onto Edouard-Montpetit and Côte-Sainte-Catherine.
Eastbound: Buses do not run on Remembrance and do not go to Lac-des-Castors. They are rerouted onto Edouard-Montpetit and Côte-Sainte-Catherine, until Station Laurier South.
T48: Stop Changes
On Boulevard Marie-Victorin, four stops of line T48 will be moved from September 9.
– Stop 31568 , located at the corner of boulevard Marie-Victorin and Place Toulouse, will be relocated on boulevard Marie-Victorin at the intersection of rue Turenne.
– Stop 31569 , located at the corner of boulevard Marie-Victorin and Place Tanger-Tessier, will be relocated on boulevard Marie-Victorin at the intersection of rue Turenne or at civic 7680.
– Stop 33658 , located at the corner of Marie-Victorin and Rome boulevards, will be relocated to St-Laurent boulevard at the intersection of St-Maurice street.
– Stop 33659 , located at the corner of boulevard Marie-Victorin and rue Riviera Rhoda, will be relocated to boulevard Marie-Victorin at the intersection of Center-Marcelle-Ferron.
PANAMA TERMINAL: NEW LINES TO THE DOWNTOWN TERMINAL
Starting September 9, certain changes will take effect at platform 9 at the Panama terminal, allowing users heading to the Downtown terminal during morning rush hour to also board lines 5, 42, 44 and 60.
This temporary change, brought about due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will remain in effect until service is back to normal.
