    Philly’s Big Double-Header: America’s 250th Birthday & Summer Soccer Tournament⚽🎆

Philadelphia is the absolute epicenter of the country’s 250th anniversary celebrations and global soccer! With Wawa Welcome America on the Parkway and a massive Soccer Game at 5:00 PM on July 4, SEPTA is boosting service across the board.

🏟️ Heading to the Soccer Match / Fan Festival

    • The Match: Takes place Saturday, July 4 at 5:00 PM at Lincoln Financial Field. Take the Broad Street Line (BSL) directly to NRG Station (recently upgraded with new platforms and signage).

    • 🔥 Free Rides Home: Fares to the game are regular price ($2.90), but rides home from NRG Station are FREE starting at halftime until 2 hours after the stadium doors close!

    • Fan Festival: Heading to Lemon Hill? SEPTA is deploying extra bus service on Routes 32 and 48. Note that Route 32 is detoured off Poplar Dr due to city road closures.

🎆 Wawa Welcome America & Regional Rail Enhancements

    • Special Schedules: On Saturday, July 4, the Market-Frankford Line, Broad Street Line, and Regional Rail will operate on special schedules with enhanced service. All other buses and trolleys will run on a Sunday schedule.

    • Late-Night Regional Rail: Most lines will provide additional inbound and outbound trains before the fireworks. After the Parkway fireworks and the FIFA match, extra late-night outbound trains will run on all Regional Rail lines (except Airport & Cynwyd) departing from Jefferson, Suburban, and William H. Gray III 30th Street stations.

    • Look for Blue Vests: On-site SEPTA Ambassadors will be stationed at major hubs to help you navigate crowd flows.
