MTR will enhance its train service during Lunar New Year Period with 937 additional trips from Jan 27 to Feb.25. On Lunar New Year’s Eve, some MTR train service will operate overnight.

- MTR Bus routes K51, K73 and 506 feeding to West Rail Line will extend service to 2:00am with buses running at 10 to 15-minute intervals.
1st Day of Lunar New Year – Night Parade (28 January 2017)
- West Rail Line will enhance service with 4 minute interval from 8:30pm to 11:30pm
2nd Day of Lunar New Year – Firework Display (29 January 2017)
- West Rail Line will enhance service with 4 minute interval from 8:30pm to 11:30pm
- Island Line will enhance service with 3.1 minute interval from 6:00pm to 10:30pm
- South Island Line will enhance service with 3.3 minute interval from 6:00pm to 10:30pm
- Tsuen Wan Line will enhance service with 3.1 minute interval from 8:30pm to 10:30pm
- Kwun Tong Line will enhance service with 3.6 minute interval from 8:30pm to 10:30pm
- Tseung Kwan O Line will enhance service between North Point to Po Lam with 4 minute interval from 8:00pm to 10:30pm; between Tiu Keng Leng to LOHAS Park with 12 minute interval
Disneyland Resort Line
From 28 January to 5 February, it will enhance service from 12:00pm to 1:00pm & 5:00pm to 8:00pm with 5 minute interval
Airport Express
From 25 to 27 January, the first train departs from Hong Kong Station at 5am (50 minutes earlier than normal service) and at 5:26am from AsiaWorld-Expo Station.
From 31 January and 5 February, the last train departs from AsiaWorld-Expo Station (via Airport Station) at 1:25am (40 minutes later than normal service)
