1. Effective immediately and until further notice, the following diversion is in place due to the Department of Public Works.
Southbound: Regular route to Chase at Cathedral then, (Straight) Chase, (L) Cathedral, (L) Read, (R) Saint Paul then back to regular route
Affected Routes:
- 95: DOWNTOWN – ROLAND PARK
- CityLink GREEN: DOWNTOWN – TOWSON
- CityLink SILVER: CURTIS BAY – HOPKINS/MORGAN
2. Effective immediately and until further notice, the following diversion is in place due to construction.
Westbound: Regular route to Patterson at Federal then, (Straight) Patterson, (L) Oliver, (L) Milton back to regular route.
Affected Route:
- CityLink GOLD: WALBROOK JUNCTION – CANTON
3. Reminder — As a result of Amtrak beginning their 2020 trackwork season which will take place this year between Odenton and West Baltimore on the regular northbound track, a new Penn Line schedule will take effect on Monday, March 16. Please carefully review the schedule to identify changes to the trains you ride, since many trains are operating earlier and some trains have different stops. Weekend service for Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15

Summary of Metrorail weekend service for Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15:
- Trains every 6-8 minutes between Shady Grove and Takoma
- Trains every 22 minutes
- Trains every 22 minutes between Wiehle-Reston East & Federal Center SW
- Trains every 22 minutes
- Regular weekend service

- Red Line trains operate regular weekend intervals (every 6 minutes on Saturday and every 8 minutes on Sunday) between Shady Grove and Takoma.
- Due to MTA Purple Line integration, free shuttle buses replace Red Line trains between Fort Totten and Glenmont.
- Free shuttle buses will operate on two routes;
- Between Fort Totten, Silver Spring, Forest Glen, Wheaton and Glenmont. This shuttle will NOT stop at Takoma.
- Between Takoma and Silver Spring only.
- Customers traveling to stations beyond Silver Spring must exit at Fort Totten.
- Silver Spring, Forest Glen, Wheaton and Glenmont stations will be closed.
- Trains every 22 minutes
- Due to track bed lighting installation, Orange Line trains will single track between Eastern Market and Stadium-Armory.
- Trains every 22 minutes
- Due to track bed lighting installation, Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Federal Center SW only.
- Customers traveling to/from stations between Capitol South and Largo Town Center should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip.
