A brand new Penang Sentral terminal will start operating this Thursday
11 years in the making! Penang Sentral is finally opening for business on 22 November 2018. The new terminal feature direct link to the Ferry Service and KTM Komuter services. Among other are a food court, F&B outlets, and lifestyle stores.
Current temporary terminal will cease operation at 11.59pm on 21 Nov 2018
All bus operation will shift their operation to the new terminal on 12.00am sharp to the new terminal. Passengers will be redirected to Level 2 to catch their bus. The 9 stories terminal will house all transportation services and act as northern region public transport gateway.
Directory of the terminal
Level 1: Bus platforms (departure & arrival)
Level 2: Bus ticketing counter (express & regional bus), taxi terminal, pedestrian bridge to ferry terminal & railway station, information counter, musollah
Level 3: Main lobby, drop off & pick up area (for private vehicle), information counter, auxiliary police office, food court.
Level 6-9: Parking zone
Bonus: Moovit Helpdesk available during the opening day
Moovit Malaysia team will provide online helpdesk through Facebook Messenger to help our passengers with an on-demand* help between 8am to 12pm, 22 November 2018.
