New train lines & public transit updates 🚌

Dear passengers,

We have collected several public transit updates you should know:

🚄 New train line: Itzhak Navon Jerusalem – Tel Aviv Savidor Central

Starting this week, passengers can board on Itzhak Navon train station in Jerusalem and arrive at Central Tel Aviv (Savidor Central train station) in a 42 minutes ride, without changing trains. The new line will operate twice an hour in each direction between 06:30-21:30 Sunday-Thursday. On Saturday nights, the line will operate from 21:00 till midnight.

🚆 New train line: Kfar Saba Nordau – Herzliya 

Great news for the residents of the Sharon cities! Starting this week, a new train line will be operating in both directions between Kfar Saba Nordau and Herzliya stations. The line will stop at Raanana South and Raanana West stations and its frequency will be twice an hour. As of today, the line is not expected to operate on Fridays and evenings.

🚌 Night lines are back

After a few months of inactivity, the night lines from the residential areas to the entertainment centers return to operate throughout the week, in addition to Thursdays and Saturday nights. You can find more details on the Night Lines website as well as plan a trip on Moovit and get the full schedules.

Cash payments starting July 12

Starting Sunday, July 12, 2020, the use of cash in public transport will be allowed only to senior citizens, residents of Judea and Samaria, and escorts of blind travelers.
