    Planned Changes to Bus Services

    67th Eurovision Song Contest

    After the Eurovision Final on Saturday 13 May additional bus services will operate in the early hours of Sunday morning

    Friday 5th May to Saturday 13th May

    A night shuttle bus will operate between the Eurovision Village, located at Pier Head, to the EuroClub at Camp and Furnace. This shuttle will operate daily between 9.00pm and 12.30am from James Street, stop JE.

    Friday 12th May and Saturday 13th May

    A Park & Ride service will operate between Stanley Park and Liverpool ONE Bus Station on Friday 12th May, between 11.00am and 1.00am the following morning; and on Saturday 13th May, between 11.00am and 2.00am the following morning.

    Saturday 13th May – Eurovision Final

    Following the Eurovision Final on Saturday 13th May, a network of night services will operate between 12.45am and 2.30am.

    Monday 8th May to Monday 15th May

    Due to the expected increase in passengers, the Arriva 500 service between Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Liverpool City Centre will increase it’s frequency to 15 minutes all day.

    Planned Changes to Rail Services

    The following lines are affected:

    Avanti West Coast

    East Midlands Railway

    London Northwestern Railway

    Northern Railway

    TransPennine Express

    Transport for Wales Rail

    Saturday 13 May to support The Grand Final: Trains will run to a 20-minute frequency on all parts of the Merseyrail network, except for the Ellesmere Port line which will run to a 30-minute frequency. This timetable allows trains to extend into the early hours of Sunday morning.

    Liverpool Lime Street Low Level station and James Street station will be closed all day. This is to help manage the large number of people expected at The Grand Final.

    Wirral line trains will only call at Liverpool Central in the city centre. Northern Line trains will only call at Moorfields in the city centre.

    Late night trains will also run on Northern and Wirral lines on Saturday 13 May into the early hours of Sunday 14 May calling at all stations
