NWFB New Arrangements for Route 796 Series

From September 25, NWFB launches route 796E, and it will adjust the services of Route 796 Series.

NWFB Launches Route 796E

It operates at 7:55am on Monday to Friday (except public holiday) from Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate to So Uk. It will pass by Tseung Kwan O, Tiu Keng Leng, Kowloon Bay Business Area, & Mong Kok.

796P Strengthenes its services and adjust routeing:

• Route 796P from Lohas Park will divert via Chi Shin Street and Tong Yin Street and observe new bus stops at Yee Ming Estate, Evangel College, Alto Residences, Sheung Tak Plaza, Sheung Chi House Sheung Tak Estate and Haven of Hope Hospital, replacing the original bus stops at Beverly Garden and Tong Ming Street. The new service hours for departures will be from 7:15am to 8:30am on Monday to Friday and 7:20am to 8:05am on Saturday. There is no service on public holiday.
• Lohas Park bound service will depart from Tsim Sha Tsui East (Concordia Plaza) and observe new bus stops at Hong Kong Science Museum, Mody Road, New World Centre, Beverly Garden, Tong Ming Street, Park Central, The Wings III and Evangel College, replacing the bus stops at China Ferry Terminal, Silvercord, Tong Ming Court, Sheung Tak Plaza, Chi Lin Buddhist Primary School and Tseung Kwan O Plaza. The new service hours will be from 5:45pm to 6:30pm on Monday to Friday.

796C Changes Route

• Route 796C will divert via Chi Shin Street and Tong Chun Street.
• While routeing of departures from So Uk between 6:15am and 9:55am on Monday to Friday remains unchanged, departures on all other days and service hours will observe new bus stops at Bauhinia Garden and Evangel College, replacing the bus stop at Tseung Kwan O Plaza.

796X Changes Route

• Tseung Kwan O bound service of Route 796X will terminate at Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate. It will divert via Chi Shin Street and Tong Chun Street and observe new bus stops at Bauhinia Garden, Evangel College, opposite Le Prestige Lohas Park, Tai Chik Sha Fire Station, Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate and TVB City, replacing the original bus stops at Tseung Kwan O Plaza, outside Le Prestige Lohas Park, Tseung Kwan O MTR Depot and Lohas Park.
• Routeing for departures between 6:25am and 7:50am on Monday to Saturday remains unchanged.

Similar diversion to the other direction is applied.

796C

• Departures from Oscar By the Sea will observe new bus stops at Yee Ming Estate, Evangel College and The Wings II, replacing the original bus stop at Bauhinia Garden.

796X

• Tsim Sha Tsui (East) bound service will observe new bus stops at Chun Wang Street, Chun Choi Street, Chun Ying Street, Chun Kwong Street, Yee Ming Estate, Evangel College and The Wings II after departing from Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate, replacing the original bus stops at Lohas Park, The Beaumount and Bauhinia Garden.
