    US Tennis Open

    • When: Monday, August 28 – Sunday, September 10, 2017
    • Location: USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center

    How to get there:

    • Take the 7 Line Icon or Long Island Rail Road to Mets-Willets Point station. Metro-North Railroad riders can transfer to the 7 Line Icon at Grand Central – 42 St station.
    • Or, take the Q48 bus to USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.
    •  Access-A-Ride service is available to and from the US Open. Click here for more information.

    Electric Zoo Music Festival

    • When: 3 PM to 11 PM, Friday, September 1, 2017 & 1 PM to 11 PM, Saturday & Sunday, September 2 – 3, 2017
    • Location: Randall’s Island

    The best way to and from Randall’s Island*: 

    • Take the 7 Subway 5 Subway 6 Subway or Metro-North to 125 St, and transfer to the X80Special Event Bus on Lexington Av between 125 and 126 Sts, which runs non-stop to and from Randall’s Island.
    • You can also take the M60 SBS, M100, M101 or Bx15 buses to 125 St-Lexington Av and board the X80 Special Event Bus to Randall Island.
      • $6.50 round-trip fare is collected going to Randall’s Island.
      • Fare is just $3.75 if transferring from subway or local bus when using the same MetroCard.
      • Pay with coins or Pay-Per-Ride MetroCard.
      • MetroCard is accepted on the X80.
      • No
        • paper bills or pennies.
        • bus transfer tickets.
        • regular Unlimited Ride MetroCard.
      • The 7-Day Express Plus Bus is the ONLY Unlimited Ride accepted on the X80.
      • There is a $1.00 fee for new MetroCard purchases.
