- The Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines run on an enhanced Saturday schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- The Port Jervis Line runs on a weekend schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, with three extra trains.
- Two extra inbound trains depart Port Jervis at 6:18 AM and 4:05 PM, arriving Hoboken at 8:30 AM and 6:24 PM respectively.
- One extra outbound train departs Hoboken at 5:19 PM.
- The Pascack Valley Line runs on a weekend schedule on Martin Luther King Jr. Day
