Ottawa Metro Area Service Updates

    OC Transpo 

    Highlights

    Routing changes and new schedules will take effect on Sunday, Sept. 2:

    • New fall schedules for Routes 10, 12, 19, 28, 30, 33, 44, 61, 63, 64, 82, 85, 87, 88, 91, 94, 95, 97, 98, 104, 105, 106, 111, 129, 170, 235, 236 and 272
    • New fall 2018 system map available

    Getting Ready for Rail:

    • Highlights by neighborhood:
      • Vanier and Overbrook
        • Routes 18 and 19 will be revised to provide more direct connections to St-Laurent Station
        • New route 20 will replace route 19 service to the Montfort Hospital, the Richelieu-Vanier Community Centre, and on Cummings, Brittany and Montfort Street
        • Route 18 will be replaced by Route 19 on Donald, and will return to its previous routing south of the Queensway, along Tremblay Road
      • Orléans
        • Routes 32, 34 and 38 will be extended to provide all-day connections to Blair Station
        • Route 134 will be combined into route 34
        • Route 32 will travel to Blair Station and will be replaced on Fortune Drive by all-day route 34
        • Route 131 service will be removed north of Highway 174, and will instead travel along St-Joseph directly to Place d’Orléans. New route 138 will run between Place d’Orléans and Saint-Louis Residence
      • Ottawa Hospital General Campus and CHEO
        • Route 45 service will be increased to operate 7 days/week in all time periods
        • Route 106 will be shortened to travel from St-Laurent and Elmvale via Smyth to Riverside Station. Service on the hospital Ring Road and to Hurdman Station will be replaced by route 45
      • Downtown
        • Later in the fall when construction on Queen Street is finished, routes 6, 7, 11, 12, 16 and 19 will be modified to travel along Queen Street
        • Starting Sept. 2, Route 11 will end at Confederation Square instead of Rideau Station
        • Starting Sept. 2, Route 12 will end at Metcalfe instead of Bank Street
      • Bayshore and Lincoln Field
        • Route 11 will no longer travel west of Lincoln Fields to Bayshore, providing a new connection between Richmond Road and the Transitway at Lincoln Fields Station
    • When Queen Street reopens to buses later this fall:
      • Routes 6, 7, 11, 16, 17, 18 and 19 will be modified to connect with future Parliament Station via Queen Street
