Passover has arrived, and we have collected several transit changes that are worth getting to know about during the holiday.
Service During Passover – Buses, Israel Railways, The Light Rail, Rachbalit
🌸 On Passover Eve (Saturday, April 12), public transportation will not operate.
🌸 On the Passover holiday (Sunday, April 13), public transportation will operate according to a Saturday evening schedule.
🌸 On the 2nd Passover Eve (Friday, April 18), public transportation will operate according to a Friday schedule.
🌸 On the 2nd Passover Holiday חג שני (Saturday, April 19), public transportation will operate according a Saturday evening schedule.
During Chol Hamoed Passover, public transportation will operate, and there will be additional service on certain lines.

🚆 Israel Railways
Israeli Railways will operate during Passover according to a designated schedule, which includes special trains and extension of existing train routes.
🌸 Friday, 11.4.25, and Second Passover eve, Friday, 18.4.25
- Passenger trains will operate between 06:00-17:00 (approximately) in an enhanced format, based on Friday schedules, with the addition of a high-frequency train service of two trains per hour (instead of one per hour), on the Haifa – Tel Aviv line.
- The Nahariya – Lehavim Rahat line will be extended to reach the Be’er Sheva stations.
- Train service will operate on the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.
🌸 The evening after Passover, Sunday, 13.4.25, and the evening after Second Passover, Saturday, 19.4.25
- Passenger trains will operate between 21:30 and 00:30 (approximately) in an enhanced format based on Saturday Evening schedules, with the addition of a train service between Haifa and Tel Aviv that will consist of two trains per hour. In addition, train traffic will be extended to reach Be’er Sheva.
- Train service will operate on the Dimona – Be’er Sheva line.
- Trains on the Bet Shean – Atlit line will operate as usual.
🌸 Chol HaMoed days (Monday and Thursday, 14-17.4.25) and Isru Chag (Sunday, 20.4.25)
- The route of train number 30 will be extended, and it will depart from Be’er Sheva Center Station at 9:41 and end its journey at Haifa Center HaShmona station at 12:23 (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center station). It will also make additional stops at the Herzliya, Haifa Hof HaKarmel, and Haifa Bat Galim stations.
- The route of train number 37 will be extended, and it will depart from Haifa Center HaShmona station (instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center station) at 14:02 and end its journey at Be’er Sheva Center station. It will also make additional stops at the Herzliya, Haifa Hof HaKarmel, and Haifa Bat Galim stations.
- The night train service between Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15-16 on the Herzliya – Ben Gurion Airport line will be extended to reach Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station.
🌸 Please note,
- On Friday-Sunday, 11.4-12.4 – Passover, alternative shuttle services will not operate.
- On Monday, 14.4 – the shuttle service will operate in the format of the Sunday shuttle service.
- On the rest of the Chol HaMoed Pesach and the Isru Chag, 15.4-20.4, the shuttle service will operate in its normal format.

Line R1 – From Bat Yam Komemiut Station to Petah Tikva Central Station (CBS): Last departure at 16:50.
Line R1 – From Petah Tikva Central Station to Bat Yam Komemiut Station: Last departure at 16:50.
Line R2 – From Bat Yam Komemiut Station to Kiryat Aryeh Station, Petah Tikva: Last departure at 17:10.
Line R3 – From Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva to Elifelet Station, Tel Aviv-Jaffa: Last departure at 17:40.
Line R3 – From Elifelet Station, Tel Aviv-Jaffa to Kiryat Aryeh, Petah Tikva: Last departure at 17:55.
🌸 Saturday, April 19 – The evening after Second Passover: Service begins at 20:30.
