We have collected for you several public transit updates that are worth getting to know:
Israel Railways – Maintenance work
During the upcoming weekend, maintenance work will be carried out in the Tel Aviv – Lod segment and the following changes will apply:
- On Friday, April 9, and on Saturday evening, April 10, trains on the Beer Sheva – Herzliya line (via Kiryat Gat, Lehavim Rahat, etc.) will operate between Beer Sheva and Lod stations (instead of between Beer Sheva – Tel Aviv – Herzliya)
- Tel Aviv Haganah, Tel Aviv Hashalom, Tel Aviv Savidor Center, Tel Aviv University and Herzliya stations will be closed
- Free shuttles between Lod and Tel Aviv Savidor Center, will operate at the following times:
Friday, April 9
From Lod to Tel Aviv Savidor Central station, from 06:25 to 13:25 every 60 minutes
- Full service will return on Sunday on April 11 at 05:00.
Dizengoff – Tel Aviv construction works
Starting this week and for about 6 months, Dizengoff/Gordon and Dizengoff/Frishman stations will be cancelled due to construction works on the west side of Dizengoff Street.
Metropolin Pupil Lines
In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Transportation, the student lines will not be operating until further notice, except for the following lines in Raanana: 78,82,84,96,97,98,99 which will operate normally.
Holon – traffic changes
Ha’Lochamim Street, in the Ma’apilim – Misrad Ha’Rishui segment will be blocked due to maintenance work. Traffic changes are expected in the area.
New line! 489 Jerusalem <-> Rosh HaAyin
Starting this week, ‘Afikim’ will operate a new line between Jerusalem and Rosh HaAyin. The schedules and routes can be found in the ‘Lines’ tab by typing the line number 489.
