Public transportation service during lockdown

Dear passengers,

Starting midnight (between Thursday and Friday), a general lockdown will take place in Israel for an estimated two weeks.

Public transportation is expected to continue operating on a full format (except student lines which will be cancelled) and in addition, popular bus lines will add departures. Note that the capacity on buses will be reduced to 50% as follows: on intracity buses – 32 passengers, on intercity buses – 30 passengers, and on articulated buses – 50 passengers.


🚆 Starting Sunday, 10.1.21 until Tuesday, 12.1.21, the segment between Tel Aviv – Savidor Central and Herzliya stations will be closed.

Therefore:

Northbound trains will end their ride at Tel Aviv – Savidor station

Southbound trains will end their ride at Herzliya station

Tel Aviv University, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva and Rosh HaAyin – North stations will be temporarily closed to service

Free shuttles will run between Tel Aviv Savidor Center and Beit Yehoshua, in both directions

Train service is expected to return to normal on Wednesday, 13.1.21.

We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask in every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.

Moovit is updated with the latest changes released by the Ministry of Transportation.
