Rail service changes in the Sharon and Modi’in area πŸš†

Dear riders,

We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this week.

Β πŸš† Rail service Changes in the Sharon area

As of Friday, March 18, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, and Raanana South stations will be temporarily closed and changes in service will apply for a period of about 6 weeks. Please note the following:

  • Trains from/to Tel Aviv will begin and end their ride at Rosh Ha’Ayin North station. Trains will operate at a frequency of 2 trains per hour during peak hours and 2 trains per hour during off-peak hours.
  • Between Raanana West and Herzliya stations, the trains will operate at a frequency of 2 trains per hour during peak hours and one train per hour during off-peak hours.
  • Β The Ministry of Transportation will increase the service in Metropolin lines 148 and 149 from Kfar Saba, line 347 from Raanana and line 249 from Hod Hasharon to Tel Aviv.

🚌 Between Hod Hasharon Sokolov and Herzliya stations and between Kfar Saba Nordau and Tel Aviv Savidor Center stations, free shuttles will be operating as follows:

πŸ‘‰ Sundays – Thursdays (starting March 18):

From Tel Aviv Savidor Center station to Kfar Nordau from 05:30 to 15:00,Β  from 19:00 to 23:30 every 30 minutes.

From 15:20 to 18:40 every 20 minutes.

From Kfar Saba Nordau to Tel Aviv Savidor Central station at 05:30 and 06:00. Starting at 06:20 to 08:40 every 20 minutes

From 09:00 to 23:30 every 30 minutes

From Hod Hasharon Sokolov to Herzliya station at 05:30 and 06:00. Starting at 06:20 to 08:40 every 20 minutes

From 09:00 to 23:30 every 30 minutes

 

From Herzliya to Hod Hasharon Sokolov station from 5:30 to 15:00 and from 19:00 to 23:30 every 30 minutes

From 15:20 to 18:40 every 20 minutes

 

πŸ‘‰ Fridays (starting March 18):

Between Hod Hasharon Sokolov and Herzliya stations (in both directions) from 05:15 to 14:15 every hour.

Between Tel Aviv Savidor Central Station and Kfar Saba Nordau Station (in both directions) from 07:00 to 14:00 every hour.

 

πŸ‘‰ Every Saturday (starting March 19):

Β Between Tel Aviv Savidor Center station and Kfar Saba Nordau stations (in both directions) at 21:00 and 22:00.

Between Herzliya and Hod Hasharon Sokolov stations (in both directions) at 20:45 and 21:45.

πŸš† Temporary changes in rail service in Modi’in area

From Monday, March 21 to Wednesday, March 23 Modi’in Center station will be temporarily closed to service due to maintenance works. Due to the works, trains on the Nahariya – Modi’in Center line will end and begin their ride at the Pa’atei Modi’instation and will not stop at Modi’in Merkaz.

🚌 During these days, free shuttles will be operating between Modi’in Center stations and Pa’atei Modii’n every 30 minutes, as follows:

From Modi’in Center to Pa’atei Modii’n station between 05:30 in the morning and 20:00 in the evening every 30 minutes.

From Pa’atei Modii’n Station to Modiin Center Station between 06:10 in the morning and 20:10 in the evening every 30 minutes

Train service will return to normal on Thursday, March 24.


Moovit is updated with the latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.

We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
