Additional service in Israel Railways stations in the Sharon and South! 🚄

Dear riders,

🚄 Starting this upcoming Sunday, May 22, Israel Railways will once again operate a full schedule at the Southern and Sharon stations!

As of Sunday, the train service will return to operate at Dimona, Beer Sheva, Ofakim, Netivot, Sderot, Ashkelon, Ashdod Ad Halom, Yavne West, Rishon Lezion Moshe Dayan, Holon, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, Raanana, and Herzliya.

  • In Beer Sheva, Ofakim, Netivot, and Sderot stations the frequency of trains will increase to 2-3 trains per hour during peak hours, and to one train every hour during off-peak hours. Also, the operating hours of the line will be re-extended until midnight (approximately).
  • In Ashkelon, Ashdod Ad Halom, Yavne West, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Holon, Bat Yam, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, Raanana, and Herzliya:
    • The frequency of trains at these stations will increase again to 3-4 trains every hour, during some peak hours.
    • Between the stations of Ashkelon, Ashdod Ad Halom, Yavne West, Rishon LeZion Moshe Dayan, Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin North, Kfar Saba Nordau, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, Raanana, and Herzliya – express trains will operate every hour, only during peak hours, which will shorten the travel time between these stations (for example the travel time from Ashkelon to Tel Aviv will be 46 minutes, instead of 55 minutes).
  • Full schedule on the Dimona – Beer Sheva North/University line: The line, which service has been paused in recent weeks, will resume its operation in accordance with its regular schedule.

Moovit is updated with the latest changes that are being published by the bus operators and the Ministry of Transportation.
