Temporary Changes in Train Traffic

Dear riders,

We have collected several public transit changes that are worth getting to know about this weekend.


🚆 Israel Railways 

Temporary Changes in Train Traffic on the Lines to Be’er Sheva and Bet Shemesh

Due to maintenance work in the Na’an area, temporary changes will apply to train traffic starting Thursday, 07.11.24 at 22:00 (approximately) and until Sunday, 10.11.24, upon the resumption of service.

  • Trains on the Be’er Sheva Center – Nahariya Line
    On Friday, 08.11.24, they will operate in a split format: between the Be’er Sheva Center and Kiryat Mal’akhi stations and between Lod and Nahariya.
    On Saturday evening, 09.11.24 – they will operate between the Lod and Nahariya stations only.

 

  • Trains on the Beit Shemesh – Netanya Line
    They will operate between the Lod and Netanya stations only.
    The Ramla and Mazkeret Batya stations will be closed.

Train traffic will return to normal on Sunday, 10.11.24, upon the resumption of service.

On Thursday and Friday, alternative shuttle services will operate between Lod Station and Kiryat Malakhi Station, and on Saturday night, shuttles will run between Be’er Sheva North, Lehavim, Lod, and Kiryat Malakhi stations.

Changes in Train Traffic in the Ashkelon Area due to Works Essential for the Travel Safety

Due to life-saving infrastructure works, which are essential for travel safety, temporary changes will apply to train traffic in the Ashkelon area, starting Wednesday, 13.11.24 at 22:00 (approximately) and until Saturday evening, 16.11.24, upon the resumption of service.

  • Ashkelon station will be temporarily closed to train traffic.
  • Train traffic between Ashkelon and Ashdod stations will be temporarily suspended.
  • Trains on the Ashkelon – Herzliya and Ashkelon – Binyamina lines will start and end their journey at Ashdod Ad Halom station instead of at Ashkelon station.

Train traffic will return to normal on Saturday evening, 16.11.24, upon the resumption of service.

A free shuttle system will operate for the passengers.
