Due to road works at Orleansstraße / Orleansplatz junction the operation of bus routes X30, 54, 55, 58, 62, 68, 145, 155, N43, N44, N45, N74 and N75 will be subject to restrictions on the weekends from Friday, 26 October until approx. Sunday, 18 November 2018.
Due to the traffic situation on the diversion routes considerable deviations from the timetable must unfortunately be expected on all affected bus routes. Please use S-Bahn and underground services to / from Ostbahnhof (Munich East) on a large scale. Please allow more time for travelling than usual due to the risk of traffic jams on the bypass routes.
Line X30
ExpressBus X30 coming from Harras diverts on Fridays and Saturdays from the Ostfriedhof stop to Rosenheimer Platz S-Bahn station and terminates. Please use S-Bahn services to link up between Rosenheimer Platz and Ostbahnhof. A temporary bus stop will be set up at Rosenheimer Straße / Balanstraße junction.
Lines 54 & N44
Bus routes 54 and N44 towards Münchner Freiheit are diverted between St.-Cajetan-Straße and Haidenauplatz. As a replacement for the Orleansstraße stop buses will serve the nearby Kustermannpark stop (Rosenheimer Straße, after the railway underpass). The Ostbahnhof stop will be suspended – please use tram 37 (from 29 October tram 21) and bus route 100 to link up between Haidenauplatz and Ostbahnhof. The Haidenauplatz stop will be relocated north to Grillparzerstraße.Grillparzerstraße verlegt.
Lines 55 & 145 & 155 & N75
Bus routes 55, 145, 155 and N75 towards Ostbahnhof are diverted between the relocated Karl-Preis-Platz stop (Melusinenstraße, stop of bus route 59 to Ackermannbogen) and Ostbahnhof. The stops at Anzinger Straße and Orleansstraße are suspended.
Line 62
Bus route 62 towards Ostbahnhof diverts between Auerfeldstraße and Ostbahnhof. As a replacement for the Orleansstraße stop buses will serve the nearby Kustermannpark stop (Rosenheimer Straße, after the railway underpass).
Lines 68 – Cityring via Giselastraße – Pinakotheken – Hauptbahnhof (Central Stn.)
Bus route 68 diverts between Auerfeldstraße and Haidenauplatz. As a replacement for the Orleansstraße stop buses will serve the nearby Kustermannpark stop (Rosenheimer Straße, after the railway underpass). The Ostbahnhof stop will be suspended – please use tram 37 (from 29 October tram 21) and bus route 100 to link up between Haidenauplatz and Ostbahnhof. The Haidenauplatz stop will be relocated north to Grillparzerstraße.
Lines N45
Nightline N45 towards Münchner Freiheit diverts between the relocated Karl-Preis-Platz stop (Melusinenstraße, stop of bus route 59 to Ackermannbogen) and Ostbahnhof. The Anzinger Straße stop is suspended. Buses towards Waldperlach divert between Auerfeldstraße and Ostbahnhof. The Orleansstraße stop is served in both directions coming from Ostbahnhof only.
Station Ostbahnhof
The bus station at Ostbahnhof is served by bus routes 100 and N74 only. All other lines depart from a temporary stop at Orleansstraße / Orleansplatz junction. Please pay attention to the stop overview map.
