Rock the Vote with Moovit

October 19, 2016

The United States presidential election 2016 is fast approaching, with election day scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

We’re proud to promote civic engagement through our partnership with Rock the Vote, the largest nonprofit and nonpartisan organization in the United States driving the youth vote to the polls. Moovit will enable easy access to polling stations across the US by adding them as points of interest on the app, so you can get to your nearest one easily on public transit.

We currently have directions to polling stations on the app for the following cities. Stay tuned for more cities to be added:

    • Boston
    • Chicago
    • Connecticut
    • Los Angeles
    • New York
    • Philadelphia
    • Seattle
    • Washington DC

Registration deadlines are fast approaching (see below). By enabling citizens to easily register and quickly arrive at polling stations, the Moovit app is empowering users to participate in this year’s Presidential Election.
