Transit updates during Rosh Hashanah

    Rosh Hashanah is here and we wish you a Happy New Year!🍯🍏

    As always, we are here for you with the most updated public transit information.

    Here are the expected changes that will be applied:

     

    πŸš†Changes in Israel Railways service

    πŸ‘‰ Sunday, September 5

    The trains will operate in an increased format, according to Sunday/Thursday schedules.

    πŸ‘‰ Rosh HaShana eve, Monday, September 6

    Trains will operate according to Friday schedules on the following routes only:

    • Be’er Sheva – Herzliya
    • Bet Shemesh – Tel Aviv – Savidor Center
    • Beit She’an – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel
    • Karmiel – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel
    • Nahariya – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel

    🚌 During this time, free shuttles will operate between TLV Savidor and Haifa Hof HaCarmel. Schedules are available in the ‘Lines’ tab under the ‘Shuttle’ section.

    πŸ‘‰ Rosh HaShana, Tuesday, September 7

    There will not operate during this day.

    πŸ‘‰ Rosh HaShana, Wednesday, September 8

    In the evening the trains will operate according to a Saturday evening schedule on the following lines only:

    • Jerusalem – Yitzhak Navon – Hertzliya
    • Be’er Sheva – Hertsliya
    • Bet Shemesh – Tel Aviv – Savidor Center
    • Beit She’an – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel
    • Karmiel – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel
    • Nahariya – Haifa – Hof HaKarmel

    🚌 During this time, free shuttles will operate between TLV Savidor and Haifa Hof HaCarmel. Routes and schedules are available in the ‘Lines’ tab under the ‘Shuttle’ section.

    Trains will operate in an increased format, according to Sunday/Thursday schedules.


    🚌 Changes in Bus service 

    On Rosh Hashana Eve, September 6, buses will operate on a holiday eve format.

    On Rosh Hashanah, September 7-8, buses will not operate at all and will return operating on September 8 in the evening.

    * In East Jerusalem and the Arab sector, the bus lines will operate as usual.

    πŸ“ The Yafoit line (77) will operate between 16:00 to 24:00, departing every 30 minutes

    πŸ“ During the day (09:30 – 18:00) the lines will operate according to Saturday’s schedule

    πŸ“ During the evening (18:00 – 02:00) the lines will operate according to Friday’s schedule

    πŸ“ The Yafoit line (77) will operate between 10:00 to 24:00, departing every 30 minutes

    We remind you, that in accordance with the Ministries of Health and Transportation guidelines, it is mandatory to wear a face mask on every ride and not use any public transportation line if having illness symptoms.
